atsec at the NCSA 4th Annual Cyber Governance & Assurance Conference

Recently, the Qatar National Cybersecurity Agency (NCSA) invited atsec to participate in the “Annual Cyber Governance & Assurance Conference” held in Doha, Qatar, and we were delighted to participate.

During the opening session, His Exellency NCSA President Eng. Abdulrahman Ali Mohammed Al Farahid Al Malki awarded atsec the EB approval certificate as an IT Security Evaluation Body accredited under the Qatar Common Criteria Scheme (QCCS).

Paolo Bernardon, Quality Manager of atsec Italy, participated in the  “Supply Chain and Technology Vetting: Perks on Certified Products in Organization” panel discussion alongside distinguished speakers – including government officials and private sector representatives – to discuss how to improve cybersecurity in technology supply chains. The discussion emphasized that certified products must undergo rigorous testing for security, compliance, and reliability in order to build trust and assurance among stakeholders. In addition, it made clear that vetting technology suppliers helps prevent supply-chain attacks, reduce vulnerabilities, and guard against unexpected third-party risks.

The two-day summit from September 29th to 30th featured a wide-ranging agenda focused on exploring strategies to strengthen cyber resilience, cultivating a national capacity for cybersecurity, fostering innovative collaborations, and international cooperation. Overall, the conference was a great success and served as an important reminder that global collaboration and shared expertise are vital to building resilient and trusted cybersecurity ecosystems.
